About
Born and raised in Bandarban, Bangladesh, in a landscape of hills, streams, and eleven ethnic communities. The path from fisheries education in coastal Noakhali and Chittagong to marine biology at the University of Bremen is told in full on the About page, with selected photographs from academic events.
Research
Current work connects fisheries resource management with marine biology and aquatic tropical ecology. Research includes marine flora and fauna identification at Helgoland Research Station, Alfred Wegener Institute; marine chemical ecology in Harder’s Lab; and ecological modelling of an integrated multi-trophic aquaculture system using STELLA software.
